UNITED STATES — RV Daily Report is seeking an advertising sales professional. The ideal candidate should be a people person with a strong attention to detail. An understanding of the recreation vehicle and outdoor hospitality industry would be a plus.
This candidate should be experienced at following up to close the sale, possess a creative ability to listen to and assemble advertising packages that work for the advertiser. The candidate needs a strong command of the English language in order to communicate with key decision makers and prepare proposals.
The sales representative will need to follow up with advertisers every week to ensure banners and other materials are in on time, and be willing to help collect payments from delinquent advertisers.
The position requires that the candidate be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Constant Contact and be able to maintain a master schedule of advertising.
Travel is required but is limited to two shows per year, the RV Dealers Association Expo in Las Vegas in early November and the National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Kentucky, the week after Thanksgiving. Reasonable travel expenses are reimbursed.
