Australia: Sites for 12 hour camping still an offer

(Jan. 10, 2017) -- This year’s Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour may be less than a month away, but there are still a number of camp sites available. The three-day event kicks off on Friday, February 3, and campers can still pick from McPhillamy, the Paddock, and Reid and Sulman to pitch their tent.

BATHURST, Australia — This year’s Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour may be less than a month away, but there are still a number of camp sites available.

The three-day event kicks off on Friday, February 3, and campers can still pick from McPhillamy, the Paddock, and Reid and Sulman to pitch their tent.

Event director John Casey said the event grows each year and 2017 was looking like no exception with ticket and campground sales well up on 2016 numbers.

“There has been a lot of interest, especially in the new initiatives introduced for this year, which include the new covered grandstand at turn one, and the new Tent City glamping experience,” he said.
