Adventure Leisure Vehicles welcomes Airstream to UK

TEBAY, Cumbria — Adventure Leisure Vehicles, which was the sole agent in the United Kingdom for the iconic aluminum Airstream travel trailers from 2006 to 2016, is delighted to hear the news that Airstream has appointed the Swift Group as the new UK distributor for the brand so that new Airstreams will be available in the UK again.

Adventure Leisure Vehicles, which worked closely with Airstream to develop these models built specifically for Europe, introduced them to the UK and the rest of Europe in 2006. However, 10 years later, it had to make the hard decision to stop importing them due to unfavorable exchange rates, although it has continued to offer servicing and pre-owned Airstream models at its showroom and workshop in Tebay, Cumbria.

“We love these cool camping vehicles and have introduced a wonderful group of people to the joy of ‘Airstreaming’ over the last 10 years, so we are sure that with the Swift Group’s marketing resources and national network, we will see even more of these stylish and inspirational aluminum trailers on our roads and campsites,” said Michael Hold, sales director at Adventure Leisure Vehicles.

“We would like to wish the Swift Group every success and will be more than happy to offer Swift and any future owners any support we can from our knowledge of these exceptional leisure vehicles,” he added.
