Winnebago plant fined $10,000 following worker’s death

Winnebago plant fined $10,000 following worker’s death

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. — The Indiana Occupational Safety and health Administration has fined the Winnebago plant in Middlebury $10,000 for workplace violations after an employee was run over and killed by a forklift in April, according to WSBT.

Two serious violations were noted: A windshield was installed on a forklift, which affected it’s operation, and the forklift wasn’t operated at a safe speed, WSBT reported.
