Thor Motor Coach to unveil four new floorplans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — New floorplans from Thor Motor Coach in the Tuscany, Outlaw, Four Winds and Chateau models are debuting in Louisville, Ky., at the National RV Trade Show.

The Tuscany 40KQ provides a new stylish island shaped kitchen.  With a modern kitchen layout and design, the 40KQ is great for entertaining with pendent lighting and built-in wine storage.  A large side aisle picture window overlooks the campsite for great views of the outdoors.  The living area has a 60-inch LCD TV, perfect for enjoying the big game, a press release noted.

A wall-slide Class C model comes to the Four Winds and Chateau with the 28F.  This new coach has a king bed, making it very desirable for a coach this short.  An innovative L-shaped sofa in the living area is configured as a sofa, dinette and sleeping space.  Large mega storage on the exterior of the coach makes sure everything can be loaded up for long trips, the release noted.

The newest addition to the Outlaw Toyhauler is the 29H.  Built on the E-series chassis from Ford, this new floorplan has plenty of living space up front, with a perfect garage set-up in the rear, the company reported, noting the 29H is the most compact and affordable Outlaw.  Standard features include the exterior patio with awning, 24-inch LCD TV with DVD player in the garage, Bluetooth enabled coach radio and 32-inch LCD TV in the living area.

“Floorplans continue to be the No. 1 reason people buy one motorhome over another.  At Thor Motor Coach we strive to continue our reputation of building new and profitable models for our valued dealer partners,” said Dana Simon, vice president of sales and marketing.

Along with the three new floorplans, the industry first RUV (recreational utility vehicle) Axis and Vegas will be showcased.  Sized like a large SUV, the RUV is the first of its kind, said Simon.  The 25 foot Class A is built on responsive Ford E-Series chassis, with powerful V-10 engine.  Compact enough to fit in the tightest of spaces, with drivability of a SUV, the RUV is the next “big thing” in motorhomes!

Dealers are invited to Thor Motor Coach’s display located at Booth No. 1400 in the South Hall of the Kentucky Expo Center Tuesday through Thursday.
