Thor debuts new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based layout

HERSHEY, Penn. — The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based Quantum Class C motorhome presents a spacious concept in luxurious living at the Hershey RV Show.

The Quantum CR24 makes its debut with a long list of standard and optional features which are made to fit any lifestyle or budget. The living area of the motorhome is the focal point with a two-person dinette and theater seats in a space traditionally only built to support a sofa. Luxury living is fully supported with the solid wood interior cabinets offered in an artisan cherry or prestige maple finish. The kitchen features a solid surface countertop and stainless steel sink. The overhead bunk is plenty big enough for two people, while the full walk-around bed in the bedroom is cozy and comfortable.

To accent, the increased space on the living side, a big increase in the storage side is also part of this new design. A full wardrobe with pull out hanging space provides the room RVers want when it’s time to hit the road. The

Quantum is fully equipped, with only a few optional features, the biggest being a full-body paint package. If looking for some kid-friendly features, the CR24 has an optional child seat tether and overhead bunk net.

“Based on our research of the market and the buyers, we find that many of the Sprinter-based buyers are traveling with two people. We have increased the living area which has helped encourage longer trips and more time camping, as people have more room to spread out,” commented Gary Stanton, product manager at Thor Motor Coach.
