Thetford/Norcold names new director of OEM sales

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Joe Hosinski, an Elkhart-area native who has spent his entire working life with RV-related businesses, joined Thetford Corporation/Norcold Inc. as director of OEM sales on Sept. 10.

Before joining Thetford/Norcold, Hosinski spent seven years as vice president of sales and marketing for an RV product supplier. Prior to that, he served in a variety of marketing and product management positions at RV-related companies, including a decade at Thor/Dutchmen.

“We are extremely pleased to hire an RV industry veteran of Joe’s caliber,” said Mary Pouliot, Thetford vice president of sales and marketing. “Over and above his experience, Joe is a high-integrity guy who is in harmony with our core value of serving customers first. He takes pride in providing high levels of quality and service.”

Hosinski, who grew up in Mishawaka, Ind., is a graduate of Indiana University at Bloomington. He and his family live in Granger.

Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Thetford is the world’s leading supplier of sanitation and refrigeration products for the RV, marine and heavy-duty truck industries. It is a privately-held company with seven manufacturing facilities in four nations.

Thetford subsidiaries include Norcold of Sidney, Ohio, America’s leading manufacturer of gas-absorption and AC/DC refrigerator/freezers for the RV, marine and truck markets; Tecma, an Italy-based maker of fine-china toilets and powerful waste-transfer systems; and Thetford Europe, which manufactures high-quality cooking and heating appliances, as well as accessories.
