The National RV Training Academy breaks ground on a new training facility

ATHENS, Texas — On Feb. 1, the National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) broke ground on a 3.08-acre site along U.S. Hwy 175 W just outside of Athens, Texas, for the construction of the BIG Red School House.

This new facility will house numerous training operations with its primary purpose being National RV Training Academy classes. This facility will be the only one of its kind in the United States providing RV technical and maintenance training via classroom and service bay training under one roof.

Training programs will be available for the new RVer, who just wants to learn how to successfully get started with his or her new equipment,as well as for dealer technicians, who require more advanced technical training. The NRVTA will host certification programs for dealer and mobile RV technicians.

The goal is to be cutting the ribbon on this new facility on July 14 – exactly one year from the date the RV park was acquired by Terry and Evada Cooper of the Mobile RV Academy, and Steve Anderson of Workamper News.

Stay tuned and make plans now for a trip to Athens, Texas, in the near future.
