Sports days are big draw at California RV Show

POMONA, Calif. — This year, the California RV Show will provide a rare opportunity for sports enthusiasts to meet and greet many of the top sports pros from famous football players to baseball legends and basketball greats.

The sports days begin Oct. 8 with “Rams Day” featuring NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson along with Fred Dryer, plus a special appearance by the Los Angeles Rams Cheerleaders.

Oct. 9 is “Baseball Day” and signing autographs will be the legendary Steve Garvey and Justin Turner, the current third baseman for the LA Dodgers. For Angels fans, Bobby Grich will be there, too.

Oct. 15 is “Lakers Day” where people can meet-and-greet legendary players NBA Hall of Famer James Worthy and AC Green, also known as the Ironman.

In addition to the sports days, families can enjoy a full day looking at over 1,325 different new 2017 RV models. Plus, Free Ferris wheels rides will keep the entire family happy throughout the day. For eating pleasure, Pink’s Hot Dogs and other great eateries will abound around the 1 million square feet of displays and exhibitor booths.

People who like contests can enter a chance to win a new Lance 1475 Ultra Light Travel Trailer valued at $27,413, plus a $1,000 gift certificate for parts and service at Richardson’s RV Center.
