Spartan Motors’ new $6.5 million facility gets Chamber award

CHARLOTTE, Mich. — Spartan Motors’ newest Eaton County facility – a flexible truck assembly plant designed to accommodate future growth – went from concept to reality in little more than a year.

For it’s $6.5 million investment, Spartan received a Celebration of Regional Growth award from the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. Loran Oils Inc., Pratt & Whitney, Gillespie Company and Eaton Rapids Medical Center also received awards this year.
