TOWCESTER, UK — Silverstone Auctions will hold its first ever motorhome sale on Sunday, May 19 at Silverstone Circuit in Towcester, and entries and bidder registrations are now being accepted.
The motorhome-only sale is a highlight of the International Trophy Weekend at the circuit and is followed in August by two further motorhome auctions at CarFest North and CarFest South, according to Paul Sadler, motorhome specialist at Silverstone Auctions.
Sadler said: “Silverstone Auctions is already well-known and respected in motoring circles for its sale of classic and competition cars, so now it’s very exciting to also offer our auction expertise in the motorhome market.
“For those new to the auction process, they can rest assured that they will enjoy total peace of mind when dealing with Silverstone Auctions. Whether buying or selling, it is incredibly simple and assistance is available throughout each step of the process.”
Silverstone Auctions offers highly competitive rates of commission and HPI checks on all vehicles. It is also easy to register and bid. Sellers will see their vehicle displayed in the Silverstone Auctions sale catalogue, along with pro-active marketing in print and on-line, and attractive rates of commission, said Sadler. Nationwide collection is also available, in addition to a valeting service if required. All funds are held in a secure client account.
“Our first sale of 2013 at Silverstone will be based in the ultra-modern £27 million Wing building, which is a fantastic place to host our inaugural motorhome sale,” stated Sadler. “However, it’s just as exciting to be at CarFest in August, probably two of the most high-profile outdoor summer events in 2013, which attract many campers and caravanners who might be tempted to bid for a motorhome!”
