COTTINGHAM, UK — Swift Group said it continues to celebrate its remarkable start to the 2014 season with record sales of over £40 million generated across three main industry shows, the latest being the Motorhome and Caravan show at the NEC, the company has announced.
The launch of major developments from the Swift Group has played a key part in the recent success, with a new SMART construction system for caravans, innovative designs and launches into new sectors all performing strongly, notes a company press release.
The new season started incredibly well with the Swift Group receiving its largest ever single Holiday Home sales order of £5.5 million, and along with its latest success, total sales will be significantly higher in the first few months of the new season than previous years, states the release.
Key sales notes were a:
- 25 percent increase in Holiday Home orders
- 50 percent increase on the Sterling caravan range with its modern and contemporary design
- 15 percent increase on Sprite caravan sales, a range that is particularly popular with families
- 30 percent increase on motorhome sales with the exclusive top of the range Swift Kon-tiki Black Edition performing exceptionally well.
