RVIA unveils RV Leadership Conference

BOCA RATON, Fla. — The RV Industry Association announced today that the association’s annual meeting, scheduled for March 1 to 3, in Boca Raton, Fla., will be re-launched as the RV Leadership Conference.

The new event will be a members-only forum for RV industry leaders looking for expanded and impactful networking and educational opportunities. It is designed to encourage both top level management as well as the next generation of leaders to attend, the release noted.

“RVIA is a leading voice of the RV industry,” said Liz Crawford, RVIA’s senior vice president of trade shows and events. “As such, the events we host are critical in helping develop future leaders, nurture talent and provide a place to share best practices and network.

“The RV Leadership Conference will bring together members and help develop a deeper understanding of critical industry and association issues by engaging the key players from all segments of the association,” she added. “We hope to help members reach into their companies and provide those ‘next-gen’ leaders with the keys for success.”

The event opens March 1, with meetings of RVIA’s Executive Committee from 8 a.m. to noon, and board of directors from noon to 6 p.m. A gala welcome reception for all attendees is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m.

RV Leadership Day on March 2, will be the central day of the event. RVIA’s membership meeting takes place from 8:15 to 10:30 a.m., featuring reports on association activities from RVIA Chairman of the Board Bob Parish and RVIA President Frank Hugelmeyer.

The afternoon session will feature two seminar presentations, including featured speaker Charles Payne, founder and CEO of Wall Street Strategies. He is recognized as a thought leader on stock markets and politics and is the best-selling author of “Be Smart, Act Fast, Get Rich” the release explained.

He hosts “Making Money with Charles Payne” daily on the Fox Business Network and can also be seen on “Varney & Co.,” “Cavuto on Business,” and “Your World.”

The Boca Raton Resort & Club will host the RV Leadership Conference. Nestled in a Mediterranean inspired historic village just a few steps from the stunning South Florida coastline, Boca Raton Resort and Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, is a luxurious home away from home. Many of the hotel’s charming and sophisticated guest rooms come with a view of the Atlantic Ocean, Intercoastal Waterway, or marina, and all guest rooms offer the latest amenities for your comfort, a release from the company stated.

Registration is now open with early-bird discounts available before Jan. 13. RVIA members can visit prod.groupandevent.net/register/RVIA17 and use the password BOCRVIA to register. Sponsorships are also available and are expected to sell out quickly. To reserve a spot or for more information, contact RVIA’s Liz Crawford at lcrawford@rvia.org.

  1. Instead of having this seminar about getting rich,

    The RVIA should have a seminar on correcting the substandard garbage the RV industry is shipping to the end buyers? Or maybe some seminars on the meaning of the term “Customer Service”.

    Rv owners take note. While you are picking up the debris from your freshwater tank that popped out and hit the highway, getting quotes on the body repairs due to the exploding barely capable OEM tires, fixing your leaking roof, junk electronics, or having your shoddy furniture re upholstered, the RVIA big whigs will be spending some quality time here;
