ELKHART, Ind. — Next week, dealers from all over the country will descend on Elkhart, Ind., for the 2018 Elkhart RV Open House. The popular event is a great opportunity each year for dealers to network and reconnect with industry partners, review new manufacturer models and place orders for next year’s selling season.
The event also serves as a great opportunity for the RV Industry Association to address dealer questions on two of its brand new industry programs, RVX: The RV Experience and the RV Technical Institute. Dealers visiting the Thor, Forest River and Winnebago exhibits can stop by the RV Industry Association booth where staff will be available to meet with dealers to provide further details and answer questions on both programs.
RVX, the industry’s most highly-anticipated new event, will kick-off camping season March 12-14 in Salt Lake City, UT. A spring product introduction gives dealers another opportunity to review brand new models and new innovative supplier products, place orders, and get product updates. Dealers can review these products on the condensed show floor, and re-supply their inventory with the current best-selling and latest new products. The Institute is designed to equip current technicians with the educational tools to assist in lowering repair event cycle times (RECT), while aggressively recruiting new technicians into the RV industry.
