RVDA webinar explores hazardous waste storage

FAIRFAX, Va. — Could your dealership survive a dumpster dive by environmental regulators looking for hazardous waste violations?, the RV Dealers Association asked.

Employees need to know how to differentiate hazardous waste from universal waste and general trash. Materials that aren’t allowed in the dumpster can incur penalties. A dealer’s exposure to fines multiplies with the number of dumpsters and company sites.

Join Jennifer Blake, an environmental health and safety engineer, as she reviews current waste management laws on both state and federal levels, as well as the importance of having a universal hazardous waste program in place. The webinar takes place Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. Eastern time.

Webinars are provided by RVDA’s strategic partner KPA as part of the array of educational offerings available through the RV Learning Center.
