FAIRFAX, Va. — Every business is required to hire and maintain a legal workforce, but finding out true employee eligibility can be difficult, the RV Dealers Association noted today.
E-Verify, the free web-based service from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Social Security Administration (SSA), makes it easy for dealerships to quickly confirm the employment eligibility of new hires. Employers are now using E-Verify at more than 1 million work sites across the nation, the release explained.
Mark Nolley, management and program analyst in the outreach branch of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, will host a webinar July 9 at 12 p.m. Eastern to discuss the basics of federal employment eligibility verification, including how to properly complete Form I-9, and the benefits of E-Verify enrollment and usage.
