FAIRFAX, Va. — The Society of Certified RV Professionals will host a special event featuring fixed operations expert David Foco during the 2018 RV Dealers Convention/Expo on Monday, Nov. 5 at Paris Las Vegas. The event is designed to recognize and promote professional certification in the RV industry. The program also includes a networking reception and will be held from 5:15 – 6:30 p.m., in the Versailles 4 ballroom.
The event will lead off by recognizing several individuals who have maintained their professional certifications for many years and were selected as this year’s recipients of the Society’s convention/expo scholarship. Thanks to the support of Prime Time, Northern Wholesale, and Society Chairman Mick Ferkey of Greeneway Inc., scholarship recipients will each receive a jacket, shirt, and gift bag.
Following the awards, Foco of A World of Training, will present “Promoting Our Certified Professionals at the Time of Delivery.” During this energizing session, Foco will focus on and demonstrate the importance of promoting certified professionals during the “customer delivery process.” The fixed operations employees hard work and determination to become “differently better” through training and certification needs to be showcased and praised amid the dealership’s customer base.
Foco is a dynamic, competitive management professional with over 35 years’ experience in the retail/commercial automotive and RV industry. The Society’s reception is sponsored by Protective and all registered attendees are invited. To register for the convention/expo or to learn more about the program, go to the convention website.
The Mike Molino RV Learning Center Board of Directors initiated the Society to increase the number of RV industry certified professionals and to retain those who already hold certification credentials. The society is aimed at individuals who hold or aspire to association certification credentials including:
