RICHMOND, B.C. — The RV Dealers Association of Canada is seeking the opinion of members regarding critical issues facing the Canadian RV industry, and on what member dealers are paying their staff in salary and benefits.
As the RVDA of Canada prepares for its annual Parliament Hill Day, the association continues to focus on and strive to reach its goal of bringing members’ core issues of concern to the attention of federal decision-makers, said Eleonore Hamm, executive director. In order to ensure members’ voices are heard, RVDA Canada launched an updated national member advocacy survey.
“We want to obtain your views and gain important feedback with respect to your advocacy priorities,” said Hamm. “Survey results will allow us to carry forward a collective message to key decision-makers during the RVDA of Canada’s Parliament Hill Day this April.”
Members are asked to respond to the advocacy survey by Feb. 28.
RVDA of Canada is also conducting its national payroll survey, which is available online by clicking here. Only one response is permitted for each dealership location.
“Many of you have told us that the information found in the national payroll summary report is very valuable to your dealership,” said Hamm. “We urge you to complete the survey when you receive it, coded by your dealership locations.”
Dealers who complete the survey by March 21 will automatically be entered into a drawing for one of five tw0-year subscriptions to RV Pro magazine, something the publication values at $150.
“By participating in this survey, you will receive a summary report detailing provincial and national average monthly and/or hourly figures by position as well as data on total number of employees, shop rates and other pertinent information,” said Hamm, who noted that non-respondents will not receive the survey results.
