PONOMA, Calif. — The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) California RV Show, which opened Oct. 6 and runs through Oct. 15, had an estimated increase of 8-10 percent in attendance over the weekend after parking problems on Friday were overcome, reported RV Business.
”We were overwhelmed with guests on Friday and we had a problem handling parking for the crowd,” said RVIA’s Western Show Director Tom Gaither. “Over the weekend, after Friday, the dealers were happy with sales. When it’s all over, we still expect a 10 percent increase in traffic.”
The California Show has more than doubled in size in the last six years, Gaither noted.
