Rhino-Rack adds new awning

AURORA, Colo. — Whatever the weather, you won’t need to stress about finding extra shelter with Rhino-Rack’s brand new Batwing Awning – an amazing 270 degrees of refuge! With plenty of exciting and innovative features, it’ll have all die-hard adventurers turning their heads.

Included with all Batwing Awnings are top quality brackets that have a high and low fitting position, so there’s no more need for any U-bolts or having to drill into your racks. The Rhino-Rack awnings have always been a one person job, and the Batwing is definitely no different. Unlike our older products, the days of carrying poles and ropes separately in the car are in the past, because the Batwing has fully integrated legs that simply unclip from the storage position that drop into place, making setting up and packing down an absolute breeze.

The rare earth magnets, that click to hold the arms in place, provides you with quick and easy storage, so you can spend more time basking in the great outdoors. With thicker Velcro straps to keep the awning secure when packed in place, you can feel confident your new Batwing will travel well on any off-road adventures.

Both lightweight and durable, the sleek black powder-coated aluminum poles have an easy grip handle to loosen and extend. With a fully extended length of just under 2.3m for compatibility with tall vehicles as well, you won’t have to worry about setting up camp on uneven surfaces again.

Getting a bit windy out there? Well don’t fret, stabilizing the Batwing is easy! The molded fittings on the end of each pole can accommodate 2 pegs directly through the base of the leg, saving the need for guy ropes. And for extreme conditions, included with the Batwing are 8 guy ropes with inbuilt hooks and 10 pegs that are easily stored in the new pocket.

Made from heavy-duty rip-stop fabric, the awning is both water and mold resistant. There’s no doubt that the Batwing offers maximum sun protection, holding an independently tested UPF 50 plus rating and endorsed by the Cancer Council, meaning every purchase will support their work in Cancer Research and Services.

The whole bundle is stored in a sleek black UV resistant bag, and with everything now included in the unit, you will never leave home without the poles, ropes or pegs again! Engineered to be compatible with all existing additions like sidewalls, extensions and tents, the brand new Batwing is an asset for anyone that revels in hitting the road in search of adventure.
