Podcast 77 features Dicor team in Louisville

Podcast episode 77 features a series of short interviews conducted with key Dicor staff members during the national RV Trade Show regarding the company and the new innovative products the firm introduced in Louisville, Ky.

First, President Gregg Fore talks about his impression of the show and offers a year-end report concerning the viability of Dicor Corporation. He also provides a brief introduction to the process of innovation at the company.

Dave Majewski, vice president of aftermarket sales and marketing, describes the company’s new Signature Extended Life RV Roof Coating for EPDM roofs. The silicone aftermarket product is applied in two coats and comes with a 10-year warranty.

Tom Grubaugh, national OEM sales manager, explains how the DiFlex II Polar White TPO roof membrane is helping to keep RVs cooler. The product also comes in a variety of colors that give RV makers options for matching roof color to the rest of the RV.

Greg Kelly, general manager of Seal Design, elaborates on the Corner Seal product introduced last year, and describes modifications made this year that allows for better handling during the application process. The cross linking material helps build stronger structures, and the fleece-backed lining forms a double-barrier against water intrusion.

Gorden Frost, general manager of Vixen Composites, explains how new fiber reinforced plastics help build stronger RV exterior walls. The water-resistant panels are built in a continuous process in any length ranging in thickness from ¼-inch to 4 inches. New integrated structural members improve strength and allow RV builders to better route wires and tubing through the walls.

Gregg Eash, national sales manager for United Shade, describes the new roller shades designed to be installed by attaching it to windows with just four screws. The shades can be automatically or manually operated, and new integrated LED accent lighting provide subtle light at night and when watching television. The shades come with a built-in valance with fabric and end cap options, as well as an indicator light to help troubleshoot problems.
