Parallax Power Supply launches new transfer switch

ANDERSON, Ind. — Parallax Power Supply of Connecticut Electric announced the introduction of its new transfer switch – the ATS 503.

“We developed the ATS 503 to solve the problems many RV owners have with constant power outages during travel due to weak relays. The ATS 503 transfer switch is designed with heavy duty, high performance contacts to give the RVer a constant flow of power while traveling.” says Jeff McCoy, engineer for Parallax Power Supply.

Designed for 120/240 VAC 50 amp service, the ATS 503 is a way to transfer power between shoreline and RV generator switches. A galvanized chassis provides relay and PCB protection against damage.

The chassis is built to provide 60 amp switching capacity and 100 amp neutral load capacity.

The ATS 503 Transfer Switch is designed to transfer power regardless of the line voltage conditions, and offers improved thermal and electrical conductivity.

The ATS 503 features:

  • Relay coils which maintain position while coach is in motion
  • LED diagnostic indicators
  • Heavy duty contacts
  • 120/240VAC 50 amp service
  • Generator/Alternate power source

The ATS 503 is available now for purchase. Learn more at www.parallaxpower.com.
