Motor Home Specialist ranks as No. 1 U.S. dealership

ALVARADO, Texas — Motor Home Specialist announced it has gained the title as the No. 1 volume selling motorhome dealer in the United States for 2014, a title awarded by Statistical Surveys. This is the second consecutive year the dealership has achieved this honor.

“All of us at Motor Home Specialist are proud of the accomplishment of becoming No. 1 again.  This was a big expansion year for us as well with all new sales facilities being completed as well as new service and our second delivery park as well,” said Donny O’Banion, Motor Home Specialist CEO. “It’s been a lot of work, but a lot of fun since taking on our first new motorhome line just 10 years ago!”

In addition to being named the No. 1 overall selling motorhome dealer in the nation, Motor Home Specialist was also awarded No. 1 honors by topping all other motorhome dealers in retail sales in 2014 for Coachmen RVs, Entegra Coach luxury motorhomes, Forest River diesel motorhomes, Forest River Georgetown Class A RVs, Sportscoach, Dynamax, Thor Motor Coach Class A and Class C.

After only one year in towable sales, Motor Home Specialist also became the No. 1 volume selling dealer for the Heartland Road Warrior luxury toy hauler.

“We’re looking forward to another great year and feel like we’re off to a pretty good start,” O’Banion noted. “Our current sales are already up close to 30 percent for the first quarter over last year.”
