Man killed at RV supplier firm in Indiana

Man killed at RV supplier firm in Indiana

MASON TOWNSHIP, Ind. — One Elkhart man was murdered and another Elkhart man has been arrested in a work-related fight that occurred this morning at Ameri-Kart, a plastic thermoforming company that produces tanks and parts for RVs, Goshen News reported.

A preliminary investigation shows the two men were on a break when the fight started. Police said that witnesses reported they thought it was a fist fight until they saw the victim bleeding from the neck area. The other employees then realized that the suspect had a knife, police told Goshen News.

The victim was identified as Jan Carlos Velazques Mendez, 24, recently of Elkhart.
