‘Lot of things in play’ in retirement, Potts said

FOREST CITY, Iowa — On the morning his retirement from Winnebago Industries Inc. was announced, Randy Potts sat on the patio of his Forest City home, Forest City Summit explained.

“I can already feel my blood pressure lowering,” said Potts, who lives on four acres in western Forest City, to The Forest City Summit.

“As you can see, I have a million things I want to do with my time,” Potts told Forest City Summit of his backyard, large garden, barbecue pit and sheds that house various vehicles.

Yet retirement from Winnebago Industries, the motor home manufacturer in Forest City, came earlier than he thought, Forest City Summit noted.
