Lippert Components to host Habitat for Humanity home build

ELKHART, Ind. — Lippert Components Inc. (LCI) will host a panel build to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County. The panel build will take place at LCI Plant 85, located at 3325 Hackberry Drive in Goshen, Indiana, on April 19, beginning at 8 a.m. EST.

“We’re excited to have the opportunity to host another panel build here at LCI Plant 85. This is a great opportunity for our team to give back to someone in need in our community,” said Nate Bontrager, assistant general manager of LCI Plant 85. “To see our team members so excited to give back to someone in need is very humbling, and I’m very proud of our team.”

This is the second Habitat for Humanity panel build hosted by LCI. In 2016, team members from Plant 45C in Goshen spent a day working together to construct the frame of a home later transported to its permanent location.

In an effort to help others in the community find service projects LCI created Acts of Service, a web-platform that allows other community members to take part in the community outreach movement. Since its creation, Acts of Service has registered more than 15 local and national businesses to support the needs of local nonprofits. For more information, visit www.actsofservice.com.
