ELKHART, Ind. – The city of Elkhart is once again teaming up with Lippert Components for a park beautification day. Approximately 600 employees are expected to participate in the event on Oct. 7 and will assist the Elkhart Parks and Recreation Department with various park improvement projects.
The collaboration is part of the Lippert Components 100,000 Hours of Community Service Initiative, announced by CEO Jason Lippert in January. It is also a key component of the city’s ongoing efforts to maintain the safety and cleanliness of the parks system.
“Lippert Components is excited to partner with the Elkhart Parks Department for our second Community Day. The parks provide wonderful outdoor spaces for families to enjoy together. We are happy to be a small part of keeping them clean and beautiful so everyone can enjoy them,” said Michilah Grimes, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships for Lippert Components.
