LANCASTER, Calif. — This week Lance celebrated reaching a significant milestone in social media marketing as it gained 50,000 plus “Likes” on its Facebook page, the organization announced in a press release.
“As social media continues to be a key and growing component in most companies marketing strategies, in the face of new and strong competition coming into the social space every day, Facebook remains the number one platform by far with no sign of giving up its dominance,” states Bob Rogers, director of marketing. “As a source of traffic to our website, Facebook is second only to organic search, with all other social platforms way, way down the list” adds Rogers.
Lance has developed individual strategies and tactics for each of the social media platforms it participates on, the release continued. Utilizing outside agencies, internal staff and strategic marketing partners, Lance provides content designed to facilitate deeper engagement with its customers and drive traffic to their website, the press release stated.
