Lance enhances its manufacturing facility tours

LANCASTER, Calif. — After attending a tour of Lance’s high-tech manufacturing facility in Lancaster California, records show that 95 percent of attendees end up purchasing a Lance ultra-light travel trailer, truck camper or toy hauler. Starting in 1983, Lance now hosts more than 500 participants annually, coming from all over North America as well as internationally.

“At every opportunity we encourage our customers to ‘Discover The Lance Difference’ for themselves. There is no better way to do this than to take a tour of our facilities where you have an opportunity to meet the folks who design and build our RVs and see first-hand the precision that results in the very high level of quality experienced in a Lance product. It’s the best sales tool we have,” states Bob Rogers, director of marketing at Lance.

“We wanted to step our game up a bit during this experience for our customers. This year we have added individual adjustable hearing devices allowing everyone to clearly hear the tour guides information regardless of the level of background noise,” adds Rogers. “All tour participants also receive a nice bag loaded with Lance goodies as a parting gift and reminder of their day with us.”

Lance also plans to add a view of its new 60,000-square-feet, state-of-the-art CNC and lamination facility to the tour. This facility is expected to open this fall.

Tours are held on select Wednesdays, with the exception of holidays and if there is staff availability. Those interested can sign up on the website or by phone at (661) 949-3322 Ext. 227.
