LOS ANGELES, Calif. — When Victor Finegold attended the 63rd RVIA California RV Show on Oct. 17, 2015 he filled out the Sweepstakes Entry Form, as did 10,000 other people, not knowing he would become the winner of a new 2016 Lance 1575 Ultra-Light travel trailer.
Bob Rogers, director of marketing for Lance Campers, said, “We couldn’t be happier to deliver this years California’s RV Show sweepstakes winner the keys to his brand new 2016 Lance 1575 Ultra-Light Travel Trailer!” “Vic is an enthusiastic RVer who appreciates quality and was genuinely stoked as I showed him around his new rig and welcomed him to the Lance family!”
After a tour of the trailer and when the keys were handed to Finegold, he said, “WOW….what an innovative, quality and awesome trailer the Lance 1575 is! I am really impressed with every aspect of it, and still can’t believe I am the 2015 Grand Prize winner!“
Finegold is an avid RVer for many years and the new trailer will be a great way to continue his exploring of the US and the many parks it offers, a release from Lance stated. He already has plans to take the trailer on one of his many weekend trips to Lake Mead and Valley of Fire State Park. In addition to camping, he attends events like Moto GP where he can relax in his camper while enjoying the races, the release states.
The 15-foot 9-inch length trailer weighs 2,655-pounds (dry/unloaded) making it easy to tow with most mid and full size SUV’s and pick up trucks, the release continued. The super slide adds room when Finegold brings a few buddies to go fishing, hiking and spending time inside enjoying dinner. Lance Campers builds with aluminum and Azdel.
Tom Gaither, RVIA western show director commented, “Lance Campers is a true RVIA show supporter and valued member. We appreciate their generous donation of a brand new RV every year for our show. They always have a very professional display of their high quality trailers and truck campers. No wonder they are leaders in their business. Show guests always flock to their display and are treated like part of the Lance family.”
Entrants had a few options to register, including filling out a form at the RVIA California RV Show, registering online at the Best RV Show website, or registering at the sponsoring partner KTLA (Ch. 5) website.
Blake Shrode, KTLA senior account executive commented, “All of us at KTLA enjoyed working with RVIA and Lance during the 63rd California RV Show. We were excited that the winner for the Lance giveaway was an avid RV enthusiast! The promotion/giveaway added to the excitement, and enhanced the overall marketing campaign on KTLA. We look forward to the 64th California RV Show, and our continued partnership with RVIA and Lance!”
