KOA partners with Disney to promote DuckTales

UNITED STATES — Kampgrounds of America Inc. is teaming up with Disney Channel’s hit series “DuckTales.”

Based on the Emmy Award-winning series treasured by a generation of viewers, the new family comedy-adventure series chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg’s most famous trillionaire Scrooge McDuck, his mischief-making triplet grandnephews – Huey, Dewey and Louie, temperamental nephew Donald Duck and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffer/pilot Launchpad McQuack; no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley; and Mrs. Beakley’s granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack, resident adventurer and the triplet’s newfound fierce friend.

The partnership is a collaborative cross promotion, focusing on both online and offline engagement for KOA and “DuckTales.” Participating KOAs will have co-branded activity sheets for kids and families, and some KOAs will even be showing “DuckTales”episodes at their outdoor movie theaters.

“Disney Channel and KOA both focus on engaging with families and inspiring fun,” said KOA Vice President of Marketing Whitney Scott. “By coming together, we are able to bridge offline, online and TV experiences. It’s an exciting opportunity.”

Kampgrounds of America was born on the banks of the Yellowstone River in Billings, Montana in 1962. The company has grown to become the largest system of open-to-the-public, family friendly campgrounds in the world with more than 500 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
