Industry believes millennials changing lifestyle to live in RVs

(Sept. 20, 2017) -- Leaders in the RV industry say it's a trend that's growing more popular. They say more millennials are buying RVs.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — On the road. That’s the way one couple is living and working in their RV.

Leaders in the RV industry say it’s a trend that’s growing more popular. They say more millennials are buying RVs.

The Recreational Vehicle Industry Association doesn’t have any solid statistics on the number of millennials buying RVs but local companies say more young people are shopping and buying at trade shows.

  1. I’m on the road mostly staying in private CGs 6 – 9 months every year. Although surely there are some like mentioned in the article I’ve met exactly zero. I’m beginning to think this is industry hope and hype. Nearly all I see have gray hair. If they don’t talk the younger people into the lifestyle the industry will shrink. They are extremely fortunate the boomers are retiring in large numbers now.
