TORONTO, Ontario – Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS), an RV, marine and trailer dealership software provider, reports that dealership expert Michael Rees will be hosting an online workshop on Nov. 16, during which he will provide dealers with an in-depth lesson on how to be an effective dealership manager and leader.In particular, Rees will cover:
- What every successful dealer should do on a daily basis
- What tools a dealer needs to spend their days productively
- How to keep a team organized without micro-management
“Many dealers have never been specifically trained to manage a dealership,” said Rees. “Sure, they may have been taught to know what percentages to have on each line of the the financial statement, but what about actually running the place? This workshop will provide a thorough look at how to manage departmental managers, what to do every day to motivate the whole team and how to hold people accountable.”
This is not the first time Rees has presented something on behalf of IDS. Earlier this year, Rees hosted a webinar covering employee accountability, which can be watched here, and participated as a guest speaker during the 2017 IDS Customer Conference, alongside former Director of Communications for Harley-Davidson Motor Company Ken Schmidt.
In addition, Rees has written articles for publications, such as Auto Dealer Monthly, RV Executive Today and RV Business. He is also a regular workshop speaker at the annual RVDA and NADA conventions.
