Erwin Hymer Group expands service, warranty team

KITCHENER, Ontario — Erwin Hymer Group North America continues to build and expand its service and warranty team, the company announced today.

“Roadtrek, now a brand under Erwin Hymer Group North America, has always been known for its outstanding customer service and industry leading warranties,” said Mike Snell, VP of Sales & Service for Erwin Hymer Group North America. “The company didn’t just sell Class B Motorhomes, they sold a lifestyle that included being backed by the best in the business, with a dedicated team that treated every customer like family.”

Erwin Hymer Group North America is looking to expand on that reputation as they continue to manufacturer the best-selling Roadtrek brand as well as the leading European brand, Hymer.

The organization recently appointed Troy Becktel to the position of director of service and warranty. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the development of comprehensive luxury service models for motorized vehicles and will be leading a team who will focus on the after sales experience, including technical training, service development and product support.

The company also reported that Chris Deakins, who has been with the company for more than 20 years in a service role, has been promoted to service, warranty and parts manager and will be working closely with Becktel in building the service side of the business.

Deakins’ knowledge of the industry and the company’s product line up and technologies is a vital part of the company’s success and is an integral part of the organizations growth plan, said Snell.

“Our customers are the most important part of our business and we take pride in the reputation we have built as having the best customer service and warranty in the industry,” he added.

“Troy and Chris bring a combined strength to the service side of our business that is above anyone else’s in the industry,” he explained. “We are thrilled that they will be working together to enhance and grow our already strong service team and continue to build the after sales service offerings.”
