Horizon Global sees first win as a sponsor in the Monster Energy Cup Series

PLYMOUTH, Mich.  – Brad Keselowski, driver of the #2 Ford for Team Penske, grabbed the win in the season-opening exhibition event, known as The Clash, on Feb. 12 at Daytona International Speedway. The win was Keselowski’s first in The Clash and Horizon Global’s first win as a sponsor in the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series.

Horizon Global is a sponsor of Team Penske this year, promoting its Reese and Draw-Tite brands in the NASCAR series and its OEM division on the IndyCar Circuit.

“Starting with a win is certainly a great way to kick off our first season as a sponsor of Team Penske,” said Francis Bernart, divisional vice president of marketing, product management, and engineering at Horizon Global. “Horizon Global is proud to be a part of this winning team and looks forward to building on the relationship with Brad and the greater Penske organization.”

The Clash is the precursor to the 2018 NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series season, which begins on Sunday, February 18 with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway. For details of the race or a schedule for the season, visit
