Gulf Stream Coach to introduce 2018 innovations in Elkhart

NAPPANEE, Ind. – Gulf Stream Coach is planning major new-product introductions and enhancements to all its major product lines at the the Elkhart Open House.

The company will host meals, entertainment and prizes from its display location just steps from the RV Hall of Fame at the intersection of Executive Drive and Independence Court, which will be open 9 9:00 p.m. September 18-21.

“Monday is traditionally ‘Gulf Stream Coach Day’ at the open house, and is often one of our busiest days at the show, so we’ll be open all day long, with lunch and dinner for the crowd,” said Paul Campbell, Gulf Stream Coach director of marketing.

He added, “We’re also seeing a trend of dealers visiting our display multiple times during their stay, so we will have a chef on hand, room to relax in the shade of our huge tent, and stadium lighting set up so we can accommodate everyone, no matter what time is best for them.”

For 2018, product planners at all Gulf Stream divisions have worked closely with dealers to identify what RV customers are looking for. The result is a broad selection of innovative travel trailers and motorhomes that capture the excitement, fun, comfort and adventure of RVing across a range of price points, sizes, styles and floor plans.

“Dealers tell us that competitors’ products all look the same,” said Gulf Stream Coach Executive Vice President Phil Sarvari. “We’ve responded by going beyond traditional earth-tone fabrics and me-too floor plans, with distinctive new colors, features, floor plans and decors that give our dealers travel trailers and motorhomes their customers will fall in love with. Our goal: To make customers’ eyes light up and smiles appear when they step inside a Gulf Stream Coach product.”

Gulf Stream Coach has also initiated a program to increase overall production by 30 percent in the coming year. The increase is the result of physical changes to the production process, added production space, and expansion of the company’s PDI program.

“By offering some of the industry’s hottest, best-loved products, we’ve strengthened our dealer network with some of the top RV dealers in the industry over the past few years. Plus, by ramping up production, we’re giving our dealers the tools they need to increase both the rate and number of retail turns they can generate in the coming year,” Sarvari said.
