Gibson becomes Winnebago district sales manager

(Aug. 5, 2014) -- Jeff Gibson is responsible for sales of the company’s Winnebago, Itasca and Winnebago Touring Coach motorhomes, as well as dealer development and training for dealers in Northern California, Northern Nevada, as well as the states of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado.

FOREST CITY, Iowa — Winnebago Industries has appointed Jeff Gibson to the position of district sales manager.

In his new position, Gibson is responsible for sales of the company’s Winnebago, Itasca and Winnebago Touring Coach motorhomes, as well as dealer development and training for dealers in Northern California, Northern Nevada, as well as the states of Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado.

Gibson, 53, has 22 years’ experience in various sales and operations management positions within the RV industry at the manufacturer, retail and rental operation level.

“We are pleased to welcome Jeff to the Winnebago family,” said Winnebago Western Area Sales Manager Niles Whitehouse. “Jeff has great knowledge of the RV rental and buying customer, as well as a great background in dealership operations that will be extremely beneficial in his new position.”

Gibson is a native of San Bernardino, Calif., and received his bachelor of science degree in business from the University of California — Riverside. He is a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity, and a former member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA).

Gibson and family, currently reside in Castle Pines, Colo.

  1. Jeff, it is good to see you on my pc. I sure would love seeing you again and even talk to you. I had to move back to Washington because of my dads health. (that was years ago).
