Fusion enters RV market, will display audio equipment in Louisville

DUSSELDORF, Germany – Fusion announced today its entrance into the North American RV industry. The company made its first appearance in the RV market at the 2013 Caravan Salon show in Germany in September.

Renowned for innovative design, exceptional sound quality, rugged construction and cutting-edge technology, Fusion’s award-winning solutions will revolutionize the experience of RV entertainment, explained Matthew Forbes, general manager of Europe and the Middle East.

“We are thrilled to offer our audio solutions to the RV market,” said Forbes. “We are confident RV enthusiasts will appreciate the incredible sound quality, protection against environmental hazards such as moisture and salt air, multi-zone audio technology and unparalleled mobile media device support of our innovative entertainments solutions. Fusion will be the must-have system for the most discerning RV entertainment gurus!”

Fusion stereos deliver clear, pristine sound reproduction and dynamics that can be enjoyed above ambient noises and feature a durable, weatherproof design to stand up to the elements, Forbes explained. The product line includes stereos with iPod/iPhone and DVD/CD system integration; and revolutionary Fusion-Link technology for access and control from Apple or Android Smartphones running the company’s wireless remote control app. Incorporating multi-zone technology, with intelligent user memory and user-definable preference settings, volume and sound quality in each zone can be controlled independently or in relation to one another for a fully customized experience.

No stranger to automotive industry, Fusion Managing Director Sir Peter Maire successfully launched Navman, a marine instrument and in-car GPS navigation company, in 2001. The company has already partnered with Jayco and other RV/Caravan manufacturers in Australia as an entertainment option on their newest lines of RVs and campers.

“Bringing extensive experience and knowledge to the RV market, Fusion’s range of electronics solutions will introduce a new level of entertainment functionality, control and performance. All of the design and engineering is conducted in house by a team of world leading experts who live and breathe innovation and entertainment,” said Forbes. “Fusion has revolutionized the marine entertainment industry and has ambitious plans for the RV sector.”
