CLEBURNE, Tex. — After FunTime RV shut their doors and left 115 employees jobless in 2010, on Wednesday they celebrated on Wednesday after it reopened as Fun Town RV and are doing better than ever, Cleburne Times-Review reports.
In 2010 the dealership fell victim to adverse economic conditions and left RV manufacturers scrambling to redistribute several hundred units of FunTime’s huge inventory, according to Cleburne Times-Review.
With a substantially smaller inventory and staff, Fun Town officially opened Aug. 1, 2010, with a commitment to provide a great product at a low price and superb customer service, according to Cleburne Times-Review.
To show their appreciation, the owners hosted a Wednesday lunch, catered by Dickey’s Barbecue, for the Cleburne dealership’s 100-plus employees. Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Randy White joined in the celebration and after happily posed for pictures and signed autographs, Cleburne Times-Review explains.
