Florida Coach to install SmartPlug

SEATTLE — For more than 37 years, Florida Coach has designed coaches with a high level of comfort, style and reliability for touring artists and entertainers. In keeping this legacy, the company is now using SmartPlug 50-amp shore power products, the company announced today.

“Florida Coach is well-established and high-end. We’re proud to have them use SmartPlug,” said Ken Smith, SmartPlug creator and owner. “Not only has Florida Coach selected an innovative shore power product, but the company will increase its brand awareness by displaying its logo on our cast stainless steel inlet covers. That’s a unique option offered by us for RV manufacturers.”

The SmartPlug connector and inlet protect against the leading causes of fire and electrocution — loose connections and overheating. The unique sleeve configuration allows any pressure or force to be absorbed by the assembly’s body, not the electrical pins. SmartPlug is effortless to orient and connect, even in the dark, the release noted.
