NEW ORLEANS, La. — A buyer is suing the manufacturer of a recreational vehicle and the dealer where the RV was purchased, citing alleged breach of the warranty contract.
Georgia resident Curtis D. Cagle filed a complaint on Oct. 19, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against defendants Forest River and Dixie Motors, alleging that they violated the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, according to the Louisiana Record.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff purchased a new 2014 Prime Time Sanibel 3050 on Nov. 3, 2014. When delivered, the fifth wheel RV was defective in materials and workmanship, and the defects were discovered within the warranty periods, the Louisiana Record reported.
