FAIRFAX, Va. — Ron and Lisa Fenech recently made a $5,000 personal donation to the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, bringing the couple’s total lifetime contribution to $65,000. Ron Fenech is co-owner of Grand Design RV Company.
The RV Learning Center’s fundraising campaign supports important programs that increase professionalism in the RV industry, including the Society of Certified RV Professionals and professional development opportunities for Young RV Executives, the release explained.
Additionally, the RV Learning Center is able to provide regular webinars on environmental health and safety and HR for dealers and their staffs. Contributions also make it possible to update critical resources like the 11th edition of the Service Management Guide released within the past year, it added.
“RV dealers have been very supportive of our family,” Ron Fenech said. “So, it’s fun to give a little back for something as important as training.”
“It is good to know that the Learning Center has reliable donors like the Fenechs who make it a priority to give, year after year,” said RV Learning Center Chairman of the Board Jeff Pastore, of Hartville RV Center. “Those who give consistently allow the Learning Center to operate with greater certainty about the future and to invest in developing new resources that will meet dealer needs today and in the years to come.”
Donations to the RV Learning Center fund programs including webinars on current topics, training and certification for dealership staff, publications and learning guides, and the convention/expo. Convenient online donations as well as a printable form that accommodates customized pledges and donations have simplified giving, the release explained.
