Keystone RV reports record sales at Hershey RV show

HERSHEY, Pa. — Keystone RV Co. reported strong sales throughout its lineup of towable brands during the Sept. 12-16 America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, that surpassed last year’s record-setting results.

“It was exciting to see the consistency of buyers across all price points at Hershey. From tip-to-tail we had positive customer feedback and consistent retail sales,” said Jeff Runels, Keystone president.

The Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary saw its Montana and Cougar fifth-wheel brands set the tone, posting the most sales through the second day of the event, while finishing with increased numbers from a year ago.

In addition, sales of Keystone’s Sprinter travel trailer brand were up 340 percent over last year. The company’s Outback ultralight trailer enjoyed a 240 percent increase from 2017 while its Fuzion and Passport line doubled sales from a year ago.

Keystone also reported that the Alpine, Avalanche, Laredo and Springdale saw year-over-year sales increases of 50 percent or better.
