Erwin Hymer Group sues rental dealer

Erwin Hymer Group sues rental dealer

KITCHENER, Ontario — Erwin Hymer Group North America, which makes Roadtrek Class B RVs, filed a lawsuit against Stay Adventurous, a rental firm based in San Rafael, Calif., The Record reported.

The Kitchener company is accusing Stay Adventurous of trademark infringement, cyberpiracy, false advertising and unfair competition in the rental firm’s use of the Roadtrek name on its website.

Erwin Hymer Group North America is seeking an injunction against Stay Adventurous’ infringement of the Roadtrek trademark, and has asked that the domain name be deactivated and transferred to them, the paper noted.
