Don’t start selling RV mattresses until you read this

It’s a well known fact in our industry — OEM RV mattresses really suck!

I mean, your customer spends $80,000 on a new motorhome and nine times out of 10, the mattress is like a medieval torture device. Right?

There is no question that there is a huge opportunity for RV dealers in selling aftermarket RV mattresses. But, what supplier should you go with?

Of course, I think you should go with Mobile Sleep Components, but I’m a little biased being the owner. However, I’m also willing to consider that maybe Mobile Sleep Components isn’t the best option for your needs.

So, I’ve put together a list of some things you should consider before you make your decision. Feel free to click on these links and they’ll jump you down the page with some more info.

About Greg Gerber

Greg Gerber is the editor and founder of RV Daily Report. A native of Madison, Wis., he moved to Phoenix in 2009 to escape the endless winters and wicked humidity of the six-week "summer" season. He's a DODO -- Dad of Daughter's Only -- who would crawl across the desert on his hands and knees for an In-N-Out Double Double. He has visited every state except Hawaii and is anxiously waiting for some RV company to host a conference in the Aloha State.

  1. We have been with Mobile Sleep Components for several years and we have increased our mattress business 100%. We liked the mattress so much we ordered one for our house. Thanks for being such a great supplier to Madison RV Center!

  2. There is also the Evergreen mattress. Most consumers I speak with are concerned with indoor air quality. Is the Mobile Sleep mattress treated with chemicals and harsh fire retardants? Is it hypo-allergenic and anti-microbial? These are qualities that are becoming more and more important. I do agree though that most other RV mattresses suck.
