Dealer Resources Group names new president

Dealer Resources Group (DRG) has named Robert (Bob) Barber as its new president. Barber has been with DRG since he accepted an offer to become its Southeast Division General Manager in February of 2005.

Barber had many years of experience in the market he serves, as a distributor sales representative with Coast Distribution for over eight years, and with Arrow for the three years before joining DRG.

Prior to that, Barber also owned and operated a dealership in Clearwater, Florida, and served as parts manager for several major RV dealers, including Lazydays. With a strong history of success, and exceptional knowledge of all aspects of the business, Barber has been a great addition for current and future vendors, and a highly valued member of the DRG team.

In 2007, Barber’s commitment to the firm was rewarded by becoming the second sales associate to be made a partner through DRG’s Partnership Program. In 2008, Bob was promoted to vice president of national sales for DRG.

Jim Stark, founder and managing director of the firm, said, “I’m very grateful for every-thing Bob has accomplished for DRG since he joined our company. His promotion to president is the natural next step for his career with DRG, and I’m extremely confident his promotion will be very beneficial to our firm, as well as our vendor partners.”

Founded on January 1, 2000, DRG is an RV aftermarket manufacturer’s representative company serving the RV industry. With a staff of 15 people, DRG provides unsurpassed sales coverage throughout the 48 continental U.S. States. For more information, visit the DRG website at www.drgrv.com.
