Cummins facility for tech research, testing

(May 4, 2017) -- Cummins plans to launch the Cummins Machine Integration and Rebuild Center in Columbus, where technology research and testing will be done starting early next year.

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Cummins plans to launch the Cummins Machine Integration and Rebuild Center in Columbus, where technology research and testing will be done starting early next year.

The Columbus-based Fortune 200 company said it plans to customize a 50,000-square-foot building on 10.8 acres of land in the Woodside Northwest Industrial Park to accommodate its pilot center operations, where the company will operate a machine-integration center, according to a news release.
