Coachmen Galleria on display at shareholder meeting

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. — Galleria by Coachmen RV, a Division of Forest River, Inc., attracted attention at the 2016 Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting in Omaha, Neb. The Galleria Class B Motorhome Division, a standalone division within Coachmen RV targeting the growing Class B market, which launched its first Class B on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis just 8 months ago, made quite an impression on many Berkshire Hathaway shareholders, a release from the company stated.

Coachmen RV had a Galleria 24SQ Class B motorhome featured in the Forest River display at the 2016 Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting in Omaha, Neb., the weekend of April 30. Tens of thousands of people streamed into Omaha to experience the shareholders meeting where Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger discussed the company and the economy to a live and streaming audience.

Mark Steele, general manager for the Galleria, stated, “The Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting was an ideal venue to show-case our Galleria Class B. We were inundated with a continuous flow of people looking the product over and wanting to know where their closest dealer was located.” Steele added, “The interest in the Galleria seemed to really focus on the versatility of use in the Galleria and the high-end feel of the coach, along with the attention to detail put into the layout and many features.”

Steele concluded that the interest and favorable comments regarding the product clearly indicate that the product is right and that, “We have indeed created the ultimate touring vehicle.” Steele is encouraged that the sales leads from the meeting will add to the momentum in Galleria retail sales.
