Camping World to host first stockholder meeting

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. — Camping World Holdings announced it will host its first stockholders annual meeting at 1 p.m. May 16 at the Four Seasons Hotel at 120 E. Delaware Place in Chicago, Ill.

Proxy notices have been mailed out to shareholders recommending that they:

  • Vote to elect Stephen Adams, Mary J. George and K. Dillon Schickli to serve on the board of directors until the 2020 annual meeting.
  • Ratify the appointment of Ernst and Young as the company’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31.
  • Approve, on an advisory basis, compensation of the company’s executive directors.
  • Approve, on an advisory basis, to conduct future advisory votes on compensation every year.

The meeting is open to stockholders on record as of March 23.

Shareholders are directed to view the proxy documents at They can request a ballot by visiting that site, calling 800.579.1639 or emailing The request for a ballot must be submitted before May 2.

“Whether or not you attend the annual meeting, it is important that your shares be represented and voted at the annual meeting,” wrote Marcus Lemonis, CEO and chairman of the board of directors. “Therefore, I urge you to promptly vote and submit your proxy by phone, via the Internet, or, if you received paper copies of these materials, by signing, dating, and returning the enclosed proxy card in the enclosed envelope, which requires no postage if mailed in the United States.

“If you have previously received our Notice of Internet Availability of Proxy Materials, then instructions regarding how you can vote are contained in that notice,” he added. “If you have received a proxy card, then instructions regarding how you can vote are contained on the proxy card. If you decide to attend the annual meeting, you will be able to vote in person, even if you have previously submitted your proxy.”
