Campers Inn acquires dealership in Mocksville, N.C.

MOCKSVILLE, N.C. — Campers Inn announced today that it completed the acquisition of the RV Superstore of Mocksville, and the dealership will become Campers Inn of Mocksville.

Starting one year ago, Jeff Plemmons, owner of the RV Superstore of Mocksville, approached Jeff Hirsch, owner of Campers Inn, about developing a partnership that could give the superstore a more competitive advantage.

As talks continued, both parties eventually agreed that Campers Inn would acquire the store, said Hirsch.
“Jeff came to realize that with this type of consolidation, he could create better service for his customers,” Hirsch explained. “For the dealership’s customers, having the store aligned with Campers Inn gives them more product availability and a stronger e-commerce site.”

The dealership is located on a 10-acre site along Interstate 40, approximately 45 minutes from Greensboro and 30 minutes from Winston-Salem. It features a 30,000-square-foot showroom, parts store and service center.

Tim Crawford, who has more than 20 years of RV industry experience, was hired to be the general manager of the Mocksville dealership.

“We are truly excited to be a part of the North Carolina market and are looking to diversify geographically from our primary market in New England,” said Hirsch. “My vision is to continue partnering with other dealers to develop a presence up and down the East Coast.”

Dealers interested in partnering with Campers Inn, should call Hirsch at 603.883.1082.

  1. Looks like Campers Inn is trying to make a national footprint. Were have all the people that worked there gone? If Tim Crawford is the General manager were is Jeff Plemmons? Is he going back to the family business?

  2. Too bad that the new Campers Inn is starting out with such a bad reputaion by not honoring money owed to customers of RV Superstore. Look like someone got rich off others money

  3. Campers Inn has honored us 100%, A new company should not be responsible for the old businesses dealings. If you had done business with Campers Inn I am totally sure you would have been treated very well. May God Bless You Susan Smith!

  4. MR PLEMMONS…STILL AFTER 3 YEARS HAS NOT PAID ME A $5,000.00 DEPOSIT ON A RV I NEVER GOT…OR SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR….THE DEPOSIT WAS ON THE BOOKS WHEN CAMPERS INN TOOK THE COMPANY OVER……
